October 2026 fee table: check the date and category
The Home Office has published its fee table for 8 October 2026. A new table does not mean every application fee is increasing.

What has been published
The Home Office updated its fee page on 10 September 2026 with a table for 8 October 2026. At our review on 26 September, that date was still in the future. The table separates current fees, fees from 8 October and the amount of any change.
Several entries show no change. For example, the visit visa for up to six months remains GBP 135, and the Student application fee remains GBP 558 in the listed categories. These examples are application fees, not a total-cost quotation for an individual application.
Check the correct official entry
Before paying, check the relevant category, whether the application is made inside or outside the UK, and the date applying to that fee. A newly published table does not necessarily mean your fee has increased.
The Home Office fee-checking tool covers applications made outside the UK only. For other applications, consult the official fee table and the relevant GOV.UK application page. Recheck the official sources when you are ready to submit.
